Just reading a few threads and none of them stay on topic, how good is that, I've been on quite a few forums and on some there's whinging when a thread goes off topic, not here though, thank god. It's just like real life isn't it, remember when you were talking to that mate down the pub and the conversation went something like this. "been working on that new shop in town, fitting some of those led panel lights", second guy replies, "yeah, I fitted some of them recently, quite good, buy mine from that place online". Third guy, "have you seen that little blonde ,works in there? she's tasty", second guy replies "yeah, she used to work in my local, very tasty" ,you reply,"is the bitter any good in there?"  someone else butts in "dunno, I drink lager, but they've a good quiz on Thursday night!".

And so the conversation moves on, just like on here, we laugh, we joke, we have spats, occasionally someone chucks their toys out of the pram and a few days later we're all mates again, nothing ever ends where it started and would I change it? Not for a second,Forums are places to learn things, but they're also places to have a laugh with your mates, as the sign says this is definitely the friendliest forum I go on, and long may it continue.

Exactly, you see where I'm coming from, I seem to remember another forum where as soon as the topic took a change of direction a post used to appear, "please keep this thread on topic"

Nothing in the real world ever stays on topic for long, lol

We have a filter on here that prevents The Topic Police  (TTP)  from reading the threads .

The Smelling Police haz bin shwiched off infacked it waz never activated .

Sometimes I'd like to activate the Paragraph Patrol though ...it can be a bit offputting to tackle a huge block of solid type without a break .  Not whinging ..just saying .
