Just did a quick Google....

KITT was voiced by William Daniels in the original series,

and as for the flashing lights....Oooooooh; that sounds like a great idea

I've seen some bits of the film but NAHHH!!!

whereas somewhere we've got pretty well all the original episodes on the old VHS tapes..

when our eldest was little they started re-running them on TV..

had to record em all cuz he (I) loved em.

He used to call "Parker".. "Car Parker"!

and "The Hood" was... "Heavy Eyes",

cuz he's got them big eyebrows!!! :^O :^O:^O

Just as long as he doesn't sing & play guitar. The guy takes himself seriously as a rock star just because he's big in Germany.

It gets very lost before then end (whe its cancelled). It's just so plastic and crap (although I did watch them all).

Not a patch on the original but then again, there have been very few decent remakes.

Italian Job & Get Carter are examples of how not to make "remakes".
