that should have worked fine with the 24W driver.

I have the 12w driver, same make as yours, and it works with just one these lamps - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B086QX9TLX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Only other thing I can think of is that you have cross connected wires at some point if these are wired in series ie light to light to light.
it is from light to light but these are connect with a plug which can only go 1 way, checked the + and - wires and they all seem to be correct. It doing my head in and I’m prob missing something so obvious lol

a product with 2off 1 star reviews

Cheap Chinese Tat..

Plus add into that the most unreliable lamp holders ever invented (G4/MR16)..

The two combined sounds like the cause of all the problems IMHO!

Ok guys, tried turning the bulb with no joy, i had a different type of bulb so decided to try that, the light didn’t come on, after turning them on and off about 4 times, they came on, after about 10 seconds they went off again, don’t it again and after 10 seconds went off again, that all the do, can’t get them to stay on unless I put the halogen bulb back in.

this is the bulb I tried

Can someone recommend a driver then, as I have already brought 2 and don’t want to keep buying then for the same thing to happen?

thanks

It's embarrassing that we haven't solved this simple concept of a handful of lamps and a power supply.

(Presumably you don't have a multi-meter or you would have mentioned it(?).)

Some drivers do need a minimum load to work, and most will shut down if overloaded.

An appropriate size for your lamps would be lower than the 60watt one you pictured.

Here is a link to a driver I have used in the past with no issues.  If you don't damage the packaging you can return things to Screwfix if they don't meet your needs.
