Led Lights

Hi

Bought 5m 12V 5630 LED strip, Adapter Power Supply UK AC/DC 6V 1A 100-240V AC DC 5.5mm x 2.1mm and LED 3528/5050 Strip Wire Connector. The lights are not working. Can someone please tell me what I need to make them work please?

They don't work if you reverse the DC side

The difference in voltage of the power supply and the LED strip light could be a clue or are two strips connected in some kinda series configuration? Also 5 meters of LED strip light could require more that a 1 Amp power supply, maybe just double check the specifications.

Did you buy the LED strip and driver from the same company?

Seems a bit odd having a 12V strip and a 6V PSU!
