Try YESSS, sure i saw some on a display there

On a side note.......i have NEVER managed to get the self adhesive LED strips to stick for more than a day!

Cleaned up with meths, multisolve, acetone, foam gun cleaner.....in fac every type of degreaser i can think of!

Give it a day and they fall off. All on kitchen units i might add.

Last one i fitted them inside some 18 x 9 mini trunk base....worked a treat!

Hint....remember NOT to fit the lid!

Just saying

Couldn't find much on the yesss website although completely unrelated I did find this:

:C

Ive had some on the roof of my van for about a year now the last lot completely blew when I tried to change a lamp and shorted the holder on the bodywork :|

It appears that this 3m self adhesive stuff is not so adhesive... gorilla glue? silicone? profile?

:)

I use IPA (isopropyl alcohol) from Maplin or CPC) to clean off kitchen grease . .   So far nothing came unstuck

I called one manufacturer who said run a small amount of superglue to areas not sticking.

I then asked why it was not sticking to start with and they replied many reasons.

We use IPA and it has stopped the unsticking mostly, we also found 3M seems to be the best, if its not 3M its more prone to unstick.

Baby wipes ;)

Like I said stuck to the roof of my van for over a year.

Never had to do it for a customer as I work in a less salubrious environments and I'm still trying to convince them not to use 100w lamps from the poundshop!

My mate has asked me to help with his kitchen lighting and was thinking mine could also do with an update. :)
