Hi all

Can anyone point me in the direction of a manufacturer/online shop which sells small LED's to fit into some floor tiles?

Ive seen loads of decking ones, kits etc. but none of these really seem appropriate.

I need to fit 10 LED's into the floor tiles of a 7m2 bathroom, so quite large. The transformer/driver will need to be accessable. Im thinking of using a KO box in the wall, with a blank over it, to house the driver. 230v supply in, then going down to the floor and underneath to go to each LED.

Im gonna need something that can cope with having quite long runs from the driver, and ideally only small, maybe a single LED unit.

Not really having much luck trawling the net, finding alot of tacky kits for deck lighting. Anyone done this kind of thing before? any pointers most welcome.

cheers

matt

Like these eh! Unfortunately I can't remember what make , I think the customer supplied them .

But hey ......I can upload pics ...no problem.

I remember this job , the driver unit was on the garage ceiling below.

Sorry just showing off.

haha found a few ooozingly expensive sights on the web. Think some people think because they look fancy they can charge big fancy prices....

speaking of fancy-

Deke, thats exactly what im after. Think i may have located some today actually (some robus ones).

How did you go about installing them?

Did you lay the cables then let the tiler tile over, fitting the lights after tiler?

What cable did you use and do you have any idea how far the driver can be away from the furthest light?

Do the drivers run hot? unfortunately theres no garage below for my job, can only think of putting it in a KO box with a blank over it. Or under a hall floor (making furthest light about 5m away)

sorry to bombard you with questions but seems like your in the know and i wanna know! cheers mate

i use these often

they are cheaper at wholesalers etc, and are made by Robus

the lights are pre-wired (just need plugged into JB), but if need be, you could extend them
