Light Bulbs Keep Blowing

any advise would be much appreciated.

went to a domestic property this morning and the occupants are complaining the light bulbs keep blowing.

any ideas................... ???

We have a fitting that does that,,, I've eventually bought some LED lamps for it.....

However I'm not particularly keen on the colour of it, warm white at 3000K when CFLs are 2700K

As Specs says , do a search of the Forum .

Plus :-

1)    Cheapo lamps ?

2)    Chandelier using SES  candle lamps , never last long.  ?

3)    Totally enclosed fittings cooking the lamps. ?

4)    Voltage high ?

Electricians worst nightmare.

We are expected to come and "fix" whatever is causing the lights to blow frequently.

The "cheap bulb" answer does not seem to cut the mustard, especially if you are charging them to tell them that.

the bulbs are 240v 40 watt - the ones that you would use on a ceiling pendant.
