Hello and good evening,

I need some help again please,

but before that, everytime i submitt my paper work in workshop to my instructor he is always amaze with all my answer specially those explaination , but i dont pretend and lie to them that i know all the answers instead i told them that I am asking help and idea or answers from the forum , and i think they dont have problem aboout it ... Thanks again guys,

1) one of the task is to draw a diagram about a 3 way lighting circuit installation both conventional and alternative , i dont have trouble of doing it but it confused me when it says " continue the power supply to switch 4. from here, create a 1 way lighting circuit to control ceiling rose 2 "

2) what is the max current value that could flow in the spur circuit

Job no. 7 001.jpg

1. I'd say to take the power from the existing rose for a new light (loop at switch)

2. the maximum current for this new circuit would be (2 x 100w)/230v = 0.87A give or take a bit.. that's assuming a lamp size of 100w

I can`t make out the piccie very well, but it appears to be incorrect......

Noz:

The O/P refers to the "spur" cct, which, IMO would be switch 4 and associated ceiling rose. Ergo you wouldn`t count BOTH lamps???

CORRECTION

I think what i have shown you guys was bit confusing , my apology ..

It is one of the question in job no.7

*** draw a diagram showing how a conventional three way lighting circuit is made compared to an alternative ( I think we have to ignore the Alternative connection on my attachment file and just concentrate on conventional diagram ) sorry again , even myself was cofused looking at both diagram ..

and same job no 7

it says " job modification"

continue the power supply to switch no. 4. from here, create a 1-way lighting circuit to control ceiling rose no 2.

thanks again for your time guys..

have a nice day all
