Hello all,

I am new to these forums but have been lurking for a while and would like to firstly introduce myself, my name is Dom and I got made redundant from a engineering job back in Feburuary and decided it was about time to take a different route in life so I started a intensive electrical course in Liverpool at Hybrid Technical Services Ltd and the course has now ended and I need some real life experience.

The modules and exams that I have taken are as follows,

NICEIC Wiring & Controls Module

NICEIC Domestic Installer Scheme Qualification (DISQ) full scope

NICEIC Inspection & Testing for Electrical Installation

City & Guilds 2383-10 17th Edition Wiring Regulations

Level 3 Cert in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671 : 2008

City & Guilds 2377-200 Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

So I am now looking for some experience and I am offering my services to anyone who has a lot on who maybe could do with a helping hand to get the job done.

I am located in the Rossendale area of Lancashire but I have my own transport and would be willing to travel in a 50 - 60 radius.

I have quite a lot of my own tools, including a 17th edition multifunction tester.

Im not too bothered about the money side of it, I am more bothered about getting some experience.

I am a good, honest hard worker and can send a copy of my CV to anyone and even provide references if needed.

If my temporary services are of interest to anyone please PM me or you can call me on 07852 226 783.

Thankyou.

Hello Dom and welcome to the forum.

I am not far from you (Great Harwood).

I may have some work in the near future where I could use extra hands.

The work is still in the tender stages but I am confident, I have some work ongoing in the NHS which involves the removal of x-ray and scan equipment for disposal under the weee agreements, plus some work for the local education authority.

At the moment I have a full team of dedicated lads but I am always on the lookout for local talent.

Besides the usual Industrial work, I do some Domestic, which I normally choose rather than do anything so my lads have to be adaptable, and they hate domestic as well. :p

Feel free to pm me your cv I may be able to help out and its local.

I work the manchester area for the NHS and central lancashire to east lancs for the local area education authorities.
