I do what Cirrus, SparkYork and a few others have mentioned. (Snip middle, pull cpc).

Just that guy who I work with likes everything to look neat.

Appreciate that it'll be hidden but, that's just the way he works and I personally am a little pedantic too on these things.

Anyway, bought a pair of Lindstrom snips now.

 
allthough i use pliers to strip all t & e, by the time ive got me cores out and done a lateral snip of the pvc its a flat cut anyway and looks neat, when it comes to been fussy about neatness then im defo right up there, i really honestly dont think there is also anything wrong with the finsished article on the above mentioned stripping method, it looks fine too me and as neat as trimming round it with a knife cos its a flat cut as well (dont know if this makes sense!?)

 
There is a school of thought that says using the CPC to strip cable back damages the cable. I think thats crap.
