Anyone else notice a madness on the roads which seems to start about 3.30 pm -4.00 on Fridays . ?

In this area there seems to be an increase in accidents and /or breakdowns which causes knock-on bottlenecks which in turn cause impatience with people finishing for the weekend.

Not to mention the M6 -M5 Midlands Links grinding to halt as 30,000,000 vehicles a minute try to drive through.

Just ONE of the many reasons we moved north 10 years ago.

I ONCE made the mistake of leaving Oxfordshire at 5PM on a friday to drive to Scotland for a holiday. NEVER AGAIN.

There's only two answers to that deke, finish earlier/later or MOVE!!!!

Most I get in rush hour is a tractor!!!!!!!!!! Still takes a blinkin age to get home.

I did both of those.I was home just after lunch today. Then spent the afternoon collecting about a ton of firewood (in my Landrover) A much better way to spend a Friday afternoon than working.

when i need firewood i dont have to far... window fitter next door usually has old window frames to be disposed of. failing that, an unlimited supply of pallets from builders merchants accross the road

I usually go home early on Fridays myself but had ELECSA yearly assessment after dinner then had to stay onsite to finish something .

Dave doesn't have this problem up there in the Arctic Circle because ............altogether NOW!!!!!>....." Of course we don't have Part P up here"" :innocent

I think we all should move to Scotland and block the roads up juts to upset Dave and we can all vote to bring the Part P into Scotland too.
