Why would you bond to plastic when it is an insulator? :C :slap

Not the plastic! the brass stopcock and a short length of copper pipe sticking out of it.

I cant see the point but just wanted to make sure. For arguments sake just how much of the copper supply is allowable before it must be bonded, presuming it doesnt change to plastic straight away.

If you can get a clamp on the length of copper from the stop cock then you should try and bond it .

is it plastic or metal befor the stop cock?

Metal before stop cock and 500mm copper with Tee to outside tap on other side. Rest of system plastic
