Hi gentlemen,

I've had the Makita 18V Cordless LXT 6 piece set now for over 2 years and am extremely happy with it, no complaints!

I'm now looking to add a few bits... Jigsaw, SDS etc and 1 of my batteries has died too! I see if I just buy the body you can save a fair bit...

Anyone know of any reputable and hopefully lower cost retailers that I could look at.

Go to EBAY uk website and type in MAKITA BARE and it comes up with all the different power tools excluding battery, then when you see which one your interested in, type this description into your search engine and it should find comparable prices and suppiers of said tool. Contact makita re battery. They replaced mine for free cos they tested it and it show less than 1000 charges.

Really, I doubt mine has had more than 1000 charges! I'll give that a go! Do you have an email address that you used? Thanks for the info

I get mine from makita direct I found of you need battery as well worth buying one as a kit as works out cheaper
