mantel/skeleton boards

Hi all.

Anyone know of a solution to amendment 3 for said boards regarding fuse cover on this type of board?? The council metal surround has been removed and lost. I'm told no manufacturer is making anything yet by wholesalers. Cheers

sorry miss read post :| thought the cover for the board had been lost not the door of the mantel? 

Can you not fit an AMD3 cu in the hole?

Yes mate. I put skeleton/mantel boards as I know some people call them different names. It's got wylex guts with rcd protection but the customer wants new but all covers are missing.

Remove the existing innards (Wylex) take out the angle bar and install a standard cu?

Yes it looks like I might have to. I just think it's not the right thing to do and is more hassle. Also, by doing that it can damage the unit and and decor, if the position of the meter let's me!!! I'll have a measure up. Ta

Thanks mate buts that's no good I need AMD 3 as there's no door for the mantel cupboard and I'd rather try and source the right unit. My wholesaler (CEF) has told me hager are making one but it'll be a couple of months so I'll probably just wait. Ta
