Manual Call Point Help

I have installed a Zeta manual callpoint, Product code ZT-CP3 to an Infinity fire alarm control panel. The system works fine all bar this callpoint which when activated both the general fault LED and the short circuit fault LED light up on the board.

Any ideas?

How did you install it Russell? Did you have to run new cables or use existing?

The system is brand new, the call point is the first device on a radial circuit run in 1mm FP. I'm guessing i've got the connections wrong, as this is my first fire alarm i'm a little unsure. Due to the bank holiday i wont be back until Wednesday and without the paperwork i'm feeling a little stumped until i return, so any help/suggestions would be great. Thanks

EOL (end of line) device properly fitted/omitted? and is it a capacitor or resistor? Ive seen them mixed up before,

oh, on that subject, is it the right resistance, NO / NC

You probably have either the wrong call point for your system OR chosen the wrong connection option.

Sounds like your connection is just giving a short instead of 470 ohms

I would hazard a guess at either the wrong call point Note...NOT ALL CALL POINTS ARE EQUAL! THEY ARE QUITE OFTEN SYSTEM SPECIFIC... :coat

As all the above, sounds like you need a call point with the resistors built in.
