How about Contactum MCBs?

there have been some non- compliance rumblings about mixing different makes.

As Tim says, but also Contactum are an odd ball that not many others fit. I know cheap Harok breakers are identicle.

The new Contactum ones have the "jazzy" colouring on the switches, too...

And Contactum is part of BG - hence the matching-ness

For future ref, some CEF stock Harok stuff along with independants. I am sure Proteus breakers are a Wylex fit so would not fit Contactum

I had a rush 'its got to be done before Christmas' job and needed a large metalclad board. As i am away next week i got a 16 way Contactum fully loaded with Rcbo's. I have no problems with the quality of Contactum gear but never again !!!. With the Rcbo's fitted there is less than 30mm between the top of the breakers and the N & E terminals. Imagine that in a 16 way board which was a upgrade from a 6 way with loads of crimps. If its not too embarrassing i may take a pic tomorrow and post it.

On the other hand Wylex metalclad have to be the best at the moment. They have moved the the breakers down so there's no huge gap under the busbar which is never used, and loads of space at the top even with Rcbo's

Quite agree slips thats why i stopped using contactum only good thing they don't have the flying leads.
