Got a letter of Gritish Bas today saying that they would be coming to change my meter at home as its part of the electricity act to replace.

What will this be replacing just the meter or will they put an isolating switch as well and maybe upgrade the 16mm tails from meter to main intake fuse?

Or am i asking to much? hehe:^O

they will only do the basics - swap meter and thats it. If you want an isolator, have it fixed to wall ready and they will probably connect to supply (might be useful to have some tails connected to supply side so they can then terminate them straight to new meter then you can do load side once they have gone). if tails to head are undersized, they are often replaced (but depends on who does the work)

hmm!Targets too meet.... or ye dont get paid chum!!! ] :)
I was talking to a bloke on site from manweb when he was installing meters and isolator switchs in all 5 barns we were doing, he said his target was 12 a day so once he finished those 5 he had finished for the day then off for a few of :Y hehe
