Was this caused by the heat from within or is it a faulty microwave ? I know a placed I worked at once , our HSE advisor carried out a 6 monthly test to see it the microwave was leaking the waves . Hence why I asked.

the microwave vents were up against the socket. so heat from the microwave

The restuarant I worked in when I was a sproglet used to have all the microwaves checked and the seals renewed every 12 months, this was over 20 years ago mind

goodness me not only do we have a Henry Hoover Coked Up, now we got a BT socket that likes Ding meals! what is this technological world coming to! before we know it we will be talking to the oven giving it counselling and advice! Telling it that its bum does not look big!
