Mobile Phone - Accountable or not?

Hi, Im looking at signing up a new contract very soon and thought about the best way to pay for it.

The phone will be used for everything, all personal and all business calls and texts. Can I claim its bills back through my sole tradership business?

Im buying it over the internet and was just about to check out when it occured to me which card (personal or business) should I use to pay for it lol

I was in a similar position, the accountant said to pay for it through the business, your allowed to use it for personnal calls as well. At least thats what the accountant said and its not been questioned by hmrc (well so far anyway)

So if it's a business expense buy it with your business card!

Doesn't matter which card you use. You can still "put it thru the business" Keep the receipt!

Was thinking about getting the iphone as well this year(contract up in mar.) and a few people have give me this blackberry over the iphone rant, so would the forumites out there who have the blackberry think that is the way to go. Bear in mind one of the reasons I wanted a Ipone was so i did not have to carry two things round in my pocket.

i got an ericsson X10, find the touch screen a bit funny to get on with sometimes, but its a great phone, faster than one of the guys at works iphone4.

From what I've heard though steps, the xperia doesn't have flash (iPhone doesn't either)... I've got a HTC Desire and love it (Mrs Noz says she's going to cite it in our divorce papers)

what does that do?

I can watch youtube etc.

is there something else I can try? I know X10 was on the old OS for a while but it upgraded recently so maybe this cured it, I dont know, how do I find out.?
