Its now time for me to upgrade my mobile contract and im looking for a blackberry, the Curve 9105 is the one im interested in.

I am with O2 and i want to stick with them as i find i get the best reception, customer service etc from them.

I have a few questions and was wondering if anyone can help me with them.

The tariff im looking at is the 2nd one down in the list,

This includes- (18 months) 300 mins, Unlimited txt's, Blackberry data and unlimited WIFI, for

My pal just got a blackberry curve and I got an iPhone same time and he wishes he'd never got the blackberry. Internet is spot on with the iPhone (don't use laptop Internet much anymore) it's 600 mins per month unlimited text unlimited Internet 35 Inc vat per month and as above jailbroken everythings free all apps Inc tomtom which is normally 50 quid so it's a satnav too and there's an app for everything. It's unbelievable how powerful it really is. Get an iPhone if you can mate highly recommended.

I have a BB and am very happy with it. Can't stand touch screens, not that impressed with the iphone myself. My BB is smaller and the keyboard is easy to use with big man fingers.

Have a look at Phones 4U - they saved me

Touch screens do tend to be bigger patch. The missus has just had a HTC Desire, which she thinks is fantastic. The only real rival to the iphone apparantly. I'm due for an upgrade soon and dont really want to fall into apple's arms. Apparantly nokia are launching their new smart phone soon.
We have a Nokia 5800 at work, screen always looks greasy with finger marks. Not my cup of tea.

I had the 5800 before my iPhone. Poor, poor phone, very unresponsive. Once you have played with the iPhone and seen how powerful it is (and the fact it is Apple) you will not want to use anything else. I think it is an excellent phone and used as a phone, the quality is brilliant. Typical Apple really!

It is a good phone, and i was taking the **** a little, with regards to the reception issues it had.

But, it looks like they have a cure for ones already purchased and are sorting out the new ones for release in September i think.

Ive just been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century and have got a sony X10. Brilliant phone.. am using it to type this.. this forum is android native apparently!

tried the iphone then went with htc desire. it blows the iphone out the water for shear speed.basically every app that is avaliable for iphone you can get on android. if your into music and vids too thats where the iphone has a limitation too as it has a inbuilt had drive and once its full your stuck while the htc uses sd cards. currently cards are available in the same size as the biggest iphone harddrive but with solid state tech in rapid developements these will only get bigger but for now a quick swap of a sd card and you have unlimited capacity just get more cards.

other things like hands free calling and speech to text are trick.

i.e your phone is in the car dock and you need not take your hands off the wheel to answer or make a call

I'v got a BB 9700 bold, very happy with it. Had 2 Nokia n97's 3 n97 mini's and the bb touch screen all sent back. With Vodafone

I'M just upgrading my phone to the Nokia X6 comes with free sat nav and has 16GB internal memory.

Also here's a site the wife use for cashback basically she get cash back on most stuff she buys on the net.

Biggest cash back offers come from insurance and new mobile phone contracts.May be worth looking at.
