I'm thinking of crushing a sweet biscuit as a base, rolling the ice cream in it and then deep frying the balls.......Maybe I should start a cooking thread?

Oh the ice-cream balls, ]:)

Phew...had me worried then. :p :^O

You never made a baked Alaska? I assume similar principal ;)
Nope never made it, all i do with ice-cream is take the tub out of the freezer putting a big dollop in a bowel, sprinkle over a crushed twirl, and eat it.Applaud Smiley

TBH i've never thought about 'cooking' ice-cream. ?:| just assumed it'll melt.

ice cream on a sponge base with meringue - cooked quickly in a hot oven. Merengue insulates the ice cream

The outer coating forms a 'shell' and protects the ice cream from the hot oil. (Or I hope it will!)

As Apache says, it's the same principle as baked alaska.

Ice-cream, hot oil and sweet biscuit, hmmm sounds err nice,

Just remember not to cook chips the day before ]:) :D

Sorry, i'm not one for 'fussy' deserts, or even 'fussy' food saying that.

I love to cook... It's persuaded many a female to stay over after a good meal before now! ]:)

I'm very offended by that! It's all 'natural goodness' that makes it happen!

I would do when the bloody band de-rigs!

Leonard Cohen tonight. He was very good..... Some tickets were going for over
