hello chaps,

i need a new combi boiler though, im short of cash, so does anyone know a good place to get decent boilers for a good price? dont want a condensing if poss ( i know your supposeto)

I think they all have to be condensing these days not sure best place to buy them, wheres jl when you need him.

Has to be condensing mate.

It generally works out that it's cheapest at the merchant you can get the best discount at.

Your best bet is to try the usual suspects for a quote and compare the meercat.

PTS, City Plumb, Plumbase, etc etc etc.

And if you can stretch to it go with Worcester Bosch. and the Junior range isn't bad at all imho.

Don't forget when you get the quote, you will need a flue, most likely a filling loop, and possibly new controls.

In exceptional circumstances, the local authority can agree to issue an exemption certificate allowing the installation of a non-condensing boiler. The installer has to fill out a form to apply for this.

It's worked out on a points system.
