Isolation and switching there are plenty of spaces for it on certificates so would imagine it does comes into regs. Book is in van, SL will put us right later if its not a reg.I stand corrected having read more in the BRB table 53.2 looks like it is the reg
I would run with code 2, there are requirements for local points of isolation for fixed equipment, hence leccy showers have isolator next to bathroom, cookers have isolators, etc etc.Trying to sort some PIR remedials - is no local isolation on a cooker a Code 2?I await the varied responses.
concurWe had this last week, isolator is required for fixed equipment in an accessible position .End of story AFAIK
It the maximum cable length for cooker isolator feeding 2 appliances which I think is 3m apart (but might be 2m)There's something in the regs that state that all isolators in the kitchen should be within 2 meters of the fixed appliance...........not sure where this is in the regs this is but i'm sure it's there...will try and find it later :|
2m from the isolator, so up to 4m apart depending how you arrange them. App 8.4 OSG.It the maximum cable length for cooker isolator feeding 2 appliances which I think is 3m apart (but might be 2m)
