Yep they're still around , "Hi I'm calling from BT ,we are getting hundreds of people phoning us for an electrician in your area " etc . Just pay us some money and we will pass all this work on to you .

There are some idiots in this area but generally if they need an electrician they phone one . What they don't do is phone the telephone company .
