Did you edit the sound as I didnt hear a bleep or obscenity, only some strange sounding geezer at the end?

But quite a close call. Definitely send to chief inspector as next time it may be worse.

I guess the black car didn't see the white one slowing down and indicating to turn.

It could have been worse, a rear end shunt at that speed would not have been pretty.

If I was the plod, I would want to know why he wasn't paying attention. Mobile phone?

Sometimes the police are useless, remember a couple of years back when my Volvo got rear ended? at least 350 yards clear visiblity,a large white Volvo waiting to turn right,2 young lads run straight into the back,no breaking or anything.I thought he'd have been a pbt as he was definately not with it,the police rolled up and were not in the slightest bit interested in breathalysing him, which they are supposed to do,oh no they were more interested in trying to do me for ripping him through the side window! Well he was very gobby with me.lol

Well... a bit of an update for you.

Yesterday evening I had a phone call from one of the officers that attended saying that they had been passed my details and a copy of the video (from the control room) and wanted to take a statement

So this evening he came to see me and took my statement (took 1 1/2 hrs),,, I also gave him the original footage (on micro SD card).... apparently they will be putting it forward to go for a prosecution of careless driving or driving without due care and attention..... she might be offered a 2 day driver awareness course.... he also said that with the footage that she should just admit to the charges and that I shouldnt have to go to court,,, but you never know

As for the lack of a roadside breath test he said that it isn't an absolute that they have to test everyone following a RTC and as both of them spoke to both parties involves and they didn't detect any effects of alcohol that it wasn't required,,, he did however admit that he should have looked into my dash cam evidence much earlier and at least took my details

Well the only question is did you pass the video to the control room?

Still goes to show the use of a dash cam is beneficial.

Oh,,,, absolutely .... I also asked if it I was correct in thinking that it was standard procedure to do road side breath tests when attending a RTC and I complained that the officers didn't take my details, take a statement or even look at my dash cam footage when offered

Geez, you're lucky you were wide awake and nice dashcam footage by the way.The Audi looked like it might have clipped the car going your direction in front of you as well as the obvious stationary one, If she didn't she was pretty damn close. She was probably on Whatsapp or snapchat, whatever she was doing she wasn't watching the road.
