Good to see you learn your UK electrical work from American websites!

that speaks volumes!

Couldn't you find the youtube on splitting tails???

:innocent

Still not notified your work through to LABC I guess?

I guess America has no zoning.

Feel sorry for the poor buggers who pierce cables putting up pictures

I did notice on his other post the mention of GROUNDING? No wonder he thinks its easy, the state of the wiring on the demo, let alone the demonstrous looking accessories, perhaps that's why he feels his standard of work is high, uses better materials.

That's an American video, hence the "unusual" switches.

Looks like they don't bother with Safe Zones for cables over there then.

Can't be he knew what he was talking about. ROTFWL
Well at least I used them proper plastic things to hold the cables in place, what they called? Errr... Oh yes Cable ties. ; \

I'm not sure but I believe domestic US wiring is all backed up with RCDs ( They have a different name for them)

That's right, an RCD in the UK is known as a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) in the US of A.

In the United States and Canada, a Residual Current Device (RCD) is most commonly known as a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI), Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) or an Appliance Leakage Current Interrupter (ALCI).
