Well that's part of the plan, they threaten the very people who show the locals that people from the west are not evil, after all you can't subjugate poor people when they realise you are lying and only providing fear, hunger, poverty and disease

You have to remember its a minority that reject any western help or interference, most of these people welcome you to their country with open arms, its a well known fact that if you find yourself in trouble in Pakistan or India find a mosque and you will be fed and given as much aid as they can give. Infidel and other remarks are from the extremists who do not represent the majority of people. A large amount of these people are not even muslim, some are christian. Now I know I can be racist subconciously, but I never judge a mass of people by the actions of a few.

I have the same view of this as I do about Iraq & Afghanistan.

Pull our troops out & let them kill each other instead of our squaddies. Last man standing wins & then at least we have only one enemy & know who it is to take the appropriate action against.
