Austalians tell it how it is , just seen this on some wierd videos attached to Hotmail email page. Its the last part of a telephone answer machine message at an Australian school , " And finally if you would like this message in another language, move to a country that speaks it, thank you for calling"

on a similar note.....

Prime Minister John Howard - Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'.

'We speak mainly ENGLISH; not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,

'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE! We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, UK residents will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

It does. I do agree with a lot of it. Wonder if this country needs something different. Not sure there's that much difference between Labour and Tory........ :|
Watching Jackie Smith on question time tonight trying to worm her way out of the expenses scandal.

My grandfather and many others fought against fascism, so I am damned if I am going to vote for the BNP, however much of a state the country might be in at the moment.

FTR - I'm not a fascist and some of the race policy's are a step too far, but go to their website and have a read. I was surprised!

the big partys should accept that some aspects of what the bmp say is right and is the view of a lot of voteing people, they should adopt and maybe customize these polices then people would not feel the need to vote bmp

It's all spin, they are going for a thin veneer of respectability in order to gain the votes of those currently disillusioned (quite rightly) with the main political parties.

At it's core, the BNP is a fascist, holocaust denying bunch of racist bigots whose "policies" are at best contradictory and confused, and at worst totally abhorrent.

Wikipedia may not always be accurate, but it does generally present a balanced view, so it's a good place to start:

immigration system at present is a big problem but it by no means britain,s only big problem, crime drugs, gangs, people who just wont work. the problem is the people in charge dont have this on there door step, so nothing really gets done

Yes I think that's a fair comment.

Jack Straw never got round to answering the all important question last week, but the answer was undoubtedly yes - the years of poor, weak immigration policy have obviously contributed to the rise in support for the BNP.

Things do need to change.

We're you one of the people planted in the Question Time Audience?

AFAIK we live in a democracy. We are all free to vote for whoever we choose. I am all in favour of the BNP having a party and they are entitled to their views and we should listen to them. The BBC ended up with egg on its face trying to show them up, twice as many people called up in support of them!

Unless things change I fully intend to vote for one of the main 2 political parties not the BNP, but that doesn't mean I don't agree with some of the things they say. If we open the borders and let anyone in our welfare system will be stretched to breaking point - there is already a pension crisis looming.

I know someone who emigrated to Auz and the hoops they had to jump through, there had to be a need in the country for his skill, clean criminal record etc etc. What are Labour or Conservative going to do about that?

if immigration was on merit only, no criminals, a work or education place for them, no assylem seekers moving through 3 safe countries to get here.

if jobs were merit only with no posertive discrimination, i belive raciesm would drop because people would be less angry and would not tar all immigrants with same brush

To be honest I don't disagree with you on most points - I am in favour of freedom of speech for the BNP as long as they remain a legal political party - although whether they will continue to do so may rely on them accepting "non white" members in the future! ROTFWL

I believe that the more the BNP are allowed to air their views the more people will see through them for what they are, which can only be a good thing. Seeing Griffin squirm while being quizzed on his ambiguous, well documented past views on the holocaust was a particularly pleasurable experience for me.

One set of questions that no-one has asked (as far as I am aware) is this:

If the leader of a party that is as far to the Left as BNP are to the Right was invited on to Question Time, would there have been an equally large dirt-storm surrounding his/her appearance as surrounded Nick Griffin's?

Would the BBC have changed the format of Question Time for a far-Left leader?

Would an openly Right-wing audience and set of panelists have been assembled to give a far-Left party leader a rough time?

........ and no, I am not a fan of BNP (or of any other Party).
