Had the best day ever at Palmer Sports last week, was not really pushing for glory but still managed to scare the you know what out of myself.

This is the best organised, most dynamic corporate event i have ever been on, and i've been on a few.

If you are into your motor sport and want just a sniff of what it must be like i heartily recommend this to you, however you do need to dig deep  ££££

Is that Mark Palmer,? Is he still involved in it,?

Slicks and wings are scary stuff, I had to fortune to drive a 1972 March a few years back when we were testing for the BOSS series, :D

Hi Steps, it is owned by Jonathan Palmer, these are the cars we drove.

Lap record is held by Jolyon Palmer, apparently it's been his playground since 8 yrs old, lucky boy eh

Grew up next door to the Brands Hatch circuit quite literally. It was our playground. Residents Pass the lot. Used to live in the Paddock scrounging stickers and posters off all the teams. Had a big Durex car poster in my bedroom!

Palmer has really tided the place up IMHO.

Met Jimmy Savile and DLT at a Radio One Road Show there too. I was quite touched......

On offer was rides with the DJ's. I think it was Peter Powell who took me and my mates round the back circuit in a 4x4.....

Sir Jimmy also offered to take people around the back, whether they wanted to or not!

then therecwas Uncle Clement with his big floppy salivating............

I keep meaning to take the missus up the funicular as a treat when we go to Hastings.
