Part B of the AM2

So i failed it on part b Inspection and Testing. I asked what on and i didnt really get a clear answer.

I now have to resit it tomorrow not knowing exactly what im doing.

Ive done testing at work but I do each circuit individually not through the whole board so this confuses me!

Can anyone help explain what to do??

the only test through the whole board you can do is insulation resistance. but if you already know how to do it individually, go with what you already know.you wont fail for this, although it will take a little longer.

if you do want to IR everything at the same time, you need to have all neutral, earths, L1's, L2's and L3's with each other, so you would need all MCB's on and test between busbars, neutrals etc

shorter IR method is:

L1 to L2

L1&L2 to L3

L1&L2&L3 to neutral

L1&L2&L3&neutral to earth
