I have been asked by a friend to PAT test their office equipment. In total there are 150 appliances. Anyone any idea on how / what to charge as it has been a while since I had to price PAT testing.

Cheers

That's what I am worried about. Naturally it needs to be worth getting out of bed for but at 80p per item it seems incredibly cheap.
I agree. We don't even have it done Wet Fish

They can't do much of a job for that, but it might be what you are apparently competing with!

suggest that at 80p per item you are getting a monkey that presses a test button and sticks pass labels on!
And I reckon that the monkey don't even press the button. :(

I agree Nozspark - I did think about just declining the job but I am slowly being accepted by the company as their first choice electrician, it is just that the PAT testing has come up and naturally I don't want to turn it down and risk not getting any future work. It may be that I have to treat it as a loss-leader.
