It was probably originally a voltage trip (yellow) and upgraded to a current RCD when the smart meter was fitted.
 
For the hard of understanding (me). I see the meter cables coming from (guess) supply head not in picture.

I see cables from rcd to isolator switch.

What offers over current protection to the t&e from the isolator? Company fuse?

I know I must be misunderstanding something, as you guys would be super fast to point out a potentially undesirable configuration.

So, load up and let me have it with both barrels, what have I misunderstood?
