the lights were originally wired in singles in conduit / trunking. at some stage its been altered, and from the trunking its changed to T&E in T2 to the lights.
this is how they added it
the sw. live single drops down conduit, into JB and to the sw.live in the T&E to the lighting.
the N & E are borrowed from a 20a radial for the sockets....
im guessing they accidently ripped out the old N, so decided to use the sockets. and get an E at the same time. no idea why it was done this way, the trunking carries on an entire 2.5mtr into the DB....
next, removed a socket and noticed some damage. looks like its been pushed back and shorted L-E. and been left. the L was completely broken, just the remainder of the insulation holding it together....
and this is what happens when you install the cable inside the the containment before actually installing the containment....
