anyone had any dealings with method publishing? any service / ex-services know anything about this bunch?

The only magazines I read when in (not by method publishing) were in order of preference:

1. **** mags
2. more **** mags
3. The Gunner http://www.army.mod.uk/artillery/23539.aspxor
4. The Soldier http://www.army.mod.uk/soldier-magazine/soldier-magazine.aspx

But it looks like Method do the welcome info packs (used to be) dished out by SSAFA to the PAD's (pad's are the families that live off barracks).

Most families will use word of mouth for any trades they need if they are in their own property, other than that most rent so call a landlord, the others will be in MOD housing so go through the Mod housing facilities who then send round a odd job.
