Just a quickie for the brains of the forum.

Just been reading an interesting piece stating that cfl lamps can have a pf as low as 0.65. Does anyone know if those 28w 2D fittings have internal power factor correction?

depends if they are electronic HF ballasts or not. Conventional choke switch start fittings tend to have caps but the electronic ones dont.
Cheers, that would be a no then as the ones I'm using are definitely HF.

Thanks again
