Talking about accents , I like the comedian Sarah Millican's accent , but is it Geordie, Sunderland, Middlesborough, Tyneside , Wearside .

So where up in "Way-aye canny lad" land is it from?

Andy ? :C

She is from south shields and has a Sandancer accent I think it is called. Andy will have to confirm. I did not like her at first but have grown to appreciate her humour.

Oo-er thats the tother side of the river.....My missus is in Geordie land at present - She sent me a photo - Its a classic - She titled it "you wont believe this - Its could only happen here !"
LL?

You should have asked Brian he would have known. I spent 2 1/2 hours on youtube last night looking at her work. I quite enjoyed it, some how I then got onto family affairs the channel 5 soap not sure how and spent ages trying to find Rose Buchins from Angels the BBC1 hospital series I really need to get out more.

The Cardiff one is nowhere near right.

He sounds a little Welsh then goes on to sound Indian. As do most English people who try to take off the Welsh Accent.

There are loads of good ones on there, and some not so good.

One of my favourites has to be his Nigerian accent.

Hat off to him, it is far from easy to do one, let alone all those accents.

I can actually perfectly converse in Welsh, from my first few words in perfect translation, the Welsh leave me alone.

Or is that the mad over exited look in my eye when I translate hello?
