So Zs's aren't important with an RCBO (aslong as it is below 1666 - but ideally 200)?

Obvious the type determines the tripping characteristics, so could you get way with fitting a C, even though the Zs might not comply (because it's an RCBO) ?

The reason to ask about the incomer being a TD RCD, is because the RCBO's (in domestic boards) are only single pole, therefore it is possible to have certain failure situations where it would not trip it.

like what? an RCBO has the same tripping characteristics as an RCD, just most RCBO's only disconnect live phase line (whatever it is today), unlike RCDs are DP

then if its a TT you MUST use DP RCBOs, domestic or otherwise.

otherwise your Zs MUST be within the guidelines stated in the big red comic for TN installations.
