Old 6 way wylex bored with a 2 way next to it for shower and garage supply.

Regs require new shower to be rcd protected along with the lights

fair enough except............

in this case both the lights and shower will be on the same rcd if i put them on a 2 way !!!!!!!

not good practice but what can you do, supplimentary would all be done in the loft which would mean there was no requirement for rcd. but...

the instructions for new shower require rcd.......

thoughts ???? customer doesnt want full cu upgrade

Exactly the same as Andy. Main Switch and RCBO for me. :)

What about a main switch and RCBO's bud?AndyGuiness Drink
Cheers Andy

sometimes you need someone to press the reset button !!!!

blinkered i am at the moment.... headbang

I would fit an RCBO, I have used these units very good quality, trip timings within spec and consitent, very low price
