hi all
a friend of mine has phoned to say his rcd keeps on tripping when he turns on his security lights. the problem started a week ago ive been round but couldnt test anything as i didnt take my meter with me but what i did notice that there was a bit of water in the light fittings and may be this is causing the rcd to trip. what would be the best way to go about testing this circuit .should i disconnect the lights and do an IR test on the circuit wires, then do an IR test on the light its self .any advice welcome
thanks
