ok, take another 10-30% off those figures, web sellers are known to be notoriously generous in their descriptions,

pulley loss at 10%, that really depends on your belt a massive amount, what is your belt loss?

heat will be a lot more than 10% at a guess,

so, how do you propose to run a 3kw motor off a 6kw generator if you are only putting at most 2kw into the generator to start with,?

the generator will lose power, not increase it, a 6kw generator will need at least 7kw going into it to get maybe 5kw at most out.

i did some more research best motor what i found is  SPINDLE MOTOR 1.5KW  24000rpm  (220V~250V Frequency: 400 Hz)

and best generator with small rpm is 8kw  120rpm      i don't know if that is important ( 25Hz  3x230V / 3x400V )

24000rpm /120rpm  = 200

so with pulley  ratio 1:200 we should get  from 1.5kw  24000rpm  motor  true pulley out  120rpm and 300kw mechanical energy

loss mechanical energy  on pulley ruff -50% that is                                                                  150kw mech energy

to make 8kw el energy from generator  we  need 16kw of mech. power 150kw -16KW =       134 KW mech. energy still left

to run 1.5 kw motor we need 3KW el energy          8kw from gen -3kw back to motor            =  5KW el energy still left

hmmm? is it ok?

WHEN you find a motor that will give you 300Kw or mechanical energy out, for 1.5Kw of electrical energy in, you will have cracked perpetual motion. Be sure to patent it, and post a video on you tube.

Until then, just carry on dreaming.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Pulley: 4th century BC

An important adaptation of the wheel in technology is the pulley - a wheel round which a rope is run to exert force on an object at the other end. Such a machine is first mentioned in a Greek text of the 4th century BC, but it is likely to have been known much earlier.

      rpm>power                  ratio                             rpm<power

that what pulley do  are they? give you more power butt less rpm

And have you ever tried to get a ratio 120:1 from a single pair of pulley's?

Go on, work out just how large the big one would need to be.

what sort of torque would that take?!
Absolutely none what ever.

I love theory when its complete rubbish.

I think Kasco would be far better connecting his "Jenny" to the Merry go round in the Night garden with Iggle piggle doing the install.

awwww, dont spoil it, !

its simply some light relief now that Im not allowed to watch CBeebies anymore,

the wife thought I was getting a bit too keen on 'I can cook' and 'Nina and the neurons'   :D

we are are off the point here Dj1 if you like CBeebies turn the PC off and watch the TV CBeebies channel and to make Flux capacitor try watch movie back to the future

again it is only theory  is it something wrong calculated there? i don't know how big will be second D of a pulley maybe (size of house)or from what material will be made of (carbon titanium fiber diamond  pulley 1000times stronger than steel )   wind stand torque or power

what power we need calculated there           ?hp, torque, kw, J/s?
