The Competent Person Scheme Operators for Part P have set up a system for anyone seeing unsafe electrical work that they think has been done by an unregistered installer, to this to such as Elecsa. UKTC members that are also Elecsa members can call 0845 634 9043, or email [email protected]."

So there you have it you can now grass up crap work done by unregistered persons......the noose tightens on the fly by nights.

And what are they going to do about it? How will they find out who did the work and prosecute them? Not gonna happen. Very noble gesture

Think the bodies do get excited when people using their logo with no right to do so. Expect they'll take action then.

I grassed on another spark for displaying the nic logo on advertising,i did a check on the nic website and it said no record of him.so sent email to nic and phoned and as far as i know nowt happened. ; )Guiness Drink
