RIP Eddie Traynor

Sad to see that Eddie (a director of NAPIT) died in February.

Eddie, whom I had a fair amount of contact with, albeit mainly over the phone, was a REALLY nice and knowledgeable guy and would help anyone with any problem.

I remember a couple of years back I had a rather major issue with the local DNO (SSE) and I contacted Eddie, he was based in Scotland, and he had the quite difficult problem sorted within a couple of days.

Many of us knew Eddie had cancer but you would never have know it he was very stoic and never mentioned it he suffered in silence.

Rest In Peace Eddie if half of us were as good as you this would be a far nicer and nicer place.

My thoughts are with Eddies wife and daughter.

I never had the pleasure of speaking to the gentleman; although I knew of him & his reputation. Condolences to the friends & family.

Eddie will be quite also to NAPIT and the electrical industry as a whole. When he was determined nothing would stop him sorting just about anything out and he wold go to the highest levels and not bat an eyelid about doing so either.
