I remember having a colour blind test when I worked for the MOD... didn't really understand the reasoning behind it TBH as a lot of the time all the wires were white or they'd all be pink,,, hardly ever pre numbered. Also not many of the components used colour coding, they mostly had printed numbers,,,, and anyhow, we could only use specific components as denoted by the NATO number in the back of the MWI's
