Scantronic 500R+ And Remote Keypad Paring

Hi,

Just bought a house (bank repo, previous owners left it 7 years ago) and see that it has a Scantronic 500r+ alarm, no paperwork or documentation in the house. Found the manual online. On the wall at the front door I found a remote keypad.

Reading the manuals I find nothing on paring the keypad with the unit. I do see on page 16 the procedure for the learning of the individual detectors. Tried the same procedure with the keypad but without any luck.

Can anybody advise me how to pair/link the keypad with the main unit? I am pretty stuck. Any help is much appreciated.

The 500r does not have a remote keypad, (In the UK it doesn't)

I can only guess you are looking at an old keypad that is no longer used, or you have a remote setting device, in which case you treat it as a detector, but learn it to circuit 9.

Yes that worked! Thank you for the prompt reply! Managed to find more info online. If any body need the info, they can drop me a line. I have the pdf´s with some documentation (sorry I cannot post the links here due to the limitations of a new user account on the forum).
