where do i mount the transfomer? in the loft space or should i mount it on the wall in the bathroom, there is no pull cord on it, so its just the standard type.

cheers..

realistically should be accesible outside the bathroom,

but if you can put it outta the ZONEs then inside would be OKish,

better than loft IMHO.

have you put an isolator for it somewhere?

If the loft is easily accessible... e.g. has a built in loft ladder..

and has good fixed lighting....

and has a suitably positioned beam you can fix transformer onto,

keeping all connections accessible for inspection & testing then can't see any problem..

often there is no suitable bathroom space or airing cupboard ...

and they can look a bit unsightly out on the landing!

so any other accessible position with suitable isolation switch such as the loft would be ok IMO. :)

Take the feed from the lighting circuit, fuse it down if you feel like it but it'll be fine on a 6A trip. :)
