Its ALWAYS the electrics that have to be moved .

Years back I was wiring a new build health centre , single storey , basically twin /earth through ceiling joists ,  all our wiring was in  when the security firm roll up , named after a freshwater fish .

I went to another job for two days  , returned to find the guy still there  and his alarm wiring passing through my joist holes with the  lighting & power .

Told the guy he shouldn't have done that , running 12V  stuff with 240V  , he said our cable was rated at 600V so it was all fine .

Because the place was being build by the City council their Clerk of Works  (Electrical)  turns up  &  tries to haul me over the coals for mixing voltages & phoned my boss telling him to get extra labour out there to drill new holes , pull all the wiring out & do it properly .

Did you not take a Polaroid when you were finished prior to alarm people coming?
I thought taking a pic was something that was passed down through the generations, not a recent concept introduced by the snowflakes?
