Shower RCD question

lol @neutral bar its been a long dayBlushing you knew what i meantsounds like its done as i thought,this setup will save me loads of time trying to track down old and obsolete RCBOs in the future.

If its just a lighting circuit...

a bog standard RCD Fused spur on a patress box would do the job...

you could leave a 13a fuse in the FCU cuz the MCD / wylex wire fuse would provide the "overload protection" part of the requirement..

and the RCD FCU will provide the 30ma Shock protection!

obviously sockets would need something bigger capable of carrying 30A+

Make sure its a latching one though other wise when their is a power cut you will be getting a call when power comes back on.
