I need to change this unit the lead flex dissapears into the ceiling void and

I am unable to disconnect it from, apparently a connector unit.The fault was the control let the main heating Circuit open when only the hot water should be on.

The motor unit was hot when every thing was turned off!

Would changing the motor unit only be the easiest solution?

At £80+ for a replacement I'd do some more testing.

All checks seem to point to the actuator or the tree way valve , is it possible the valve has gone faulty?

Is the valve shaft free to move with the actuator removed? If it's not stuck you can run the system and check the valve itself it by manually operating it.
