Smart phones..losing of..

I don't have a Smart Phone ,  I have a Dumbo phone  but being one of the Forum's leading IT experts  I pass this on  , which I just read on my BT page. 

I'm sure you all know this anyway   but I didn't .

If you lose your phone or it gets nicked  theres an app which will locate it ,  delete all your personal  data and ...this impressed me .... you can remotely take a photo to the thief  and receive it by email   .

Must do !    If he's got form they'll have his ear on their database  see  ...no two ears are the same ...not many people know that .

If I hadn’t sat on my Nokia clamshell phone I’d still be using it. But I did and Pink Minx gave me a cast off smart phone. After a year I still don’t know how it works, apps are a total mystery to me.

I'm right there with you Tony .....  I am still to experience the joys of a Pokey Finger Phone  ...I'm happy with a Nocky  that makes calls & takes photos .

My work phone is a 7000 year old nokia. It does nothing smart whatsoever, and it doesn’t even have Snake (much to my disappointment). But I do still kinda love it for reasons like only having to charge it once a week and I don’t have to take my gloves off to answer a phone call.

I shut down/delete as many apps as possible on my phone - does wonders for battery life.
