So, following on from a previous thread, what would you take with you in a "grab bag" as a sort of Electrical First Responder. This is only for general, electrical issues NOT specific areas like Data, Comms, Machine Tool, Fire Alarms, Alarms, ....you get the idea.

I have an old AEG drill, bag in which there is

Fluke. T 150

Socket and see tester

voltstick

knife

Wera Driver set c/w Knipex cutters /pliers and neon

Snips

Small hammer

12,V AEG drill and spare battery.....because i am getting lazy

Head torch

Junior hacksaw

Couple of Wago. Boxes

Selection of Wagos

tape

Small box of screws, fuses, M3.5s, M4s, green, blue, brown sleeve

A few grommets

twatting driver

"Scouse door key

Milwaukee bit/driver/drill set

Lockoffs

A couple of ***** stickers

A few cable ties

Pair of gloves

Security bit set

....maybe Fluke 1654..... Depending what I am going to

For me this minimises the number of trips back to the van

All,other stuff like insulated wrenches, allen keys, sockets sets, funky drivers, chisels...in fact everything ( and there is a LOT of it!) stays in the Van

Picture to follow...probably

Just .........suggesting/wondering

Which van the escort? You had all that nice racking too!

There is A LOT of poop in there: an ikea bag full of old cable, bag of bonding bag of cement plus all the usual detritus. I will try tidy it up for you Deke but they are working me hard at the moment :innocent

@jono I have only had them a week so not had the chance to give them a good bashing!

But so far so good. :) I Have relegated the long nose pliers. Most small jobs can be done with these and just a set of drivers which is good if your working in tight spaces, lofts etc.

Also one of the reasons I bought them is the flat ends good for pulling at conductor's without damaging them :)

I haven't relegated the ck combi cutters yet though...
